During periods of lockdown Middle Street Primary School remains open to vulnerable children and children of critical workers.
DfE guidance states that parents and carers who are critical workers should keep their children at home if they can. (Guidance - Children of critical workers and vulnerable children who can access schools or educational settings - Updated 8 January 2021)
Please use this form to request a place, for face to face provision, for you child if you are a critical worker and you have no other child care available to you.
If possible the school will accommodate all requests from parents and carers that meet the DfE criteria for critical workers. If demand exceed the number of places we can safely offer places will be allocated according to the following criteria.
1. Critical Worker Children- where both parents/carers are critical workers or you are a sole parent/carer and are a critical worker working during the school day.
2. Critical Worker Children- where one parent/carer is a Critical Worker and no other parent/carer is at home or able to provide childcare.
A letter from your employer will be required, outlining your working days/hours/pattern. Critical Worker employers are able to provide this.
Critical Worker children can only attend face to face provision on the days and times that their critical worker parent in working.
